Student expectations on LAVAZA:

As the day approaches, the excitement is just intolerable! The students are just going crazy about the campus by the mere thought of the most awaited day of the year, the awesome LAVAZA 2K17!

Fed up by the regular boring routine, everyone is thriving to get mesmerized in the fabulous event which is about to make a really grand entry. Everyone is waiting eagerly to get lost in the soothing music and dance on their feet during the fabulous dance events which are yet to unveil! The techy geeks are waiting desperately for the technical events which are about to strike and the nature lovers are ready to capture the amazing views in their cameras! Artists are ready to blend their creativity and awesomeness with the eye popping colors and create some unbelievably awesome art! Just the names of our chief guests have created a storm of agitation across the whole campus! The center of attraction, however, will be the humblest person we have ever known, the one who chooses to be simple despite his incredible popularity, the fabulous actor and a great socialist, VISHAL KRISHNA. And the students in the campus are just able to say this… “Throwback guys! Just hold yourself as you are about to experience some of the best moments of your life!” It is sure that the visitors who are about to visit the campus on 17^th and 18^th of this month, are going back with some incredible memories!!

Hopes, Dreams and hearts to be filled

A cultural fest in an institution may not be a big buzz to some people or still a dream for some students but as the fest unveils in Veltech grounds, the eagerness abounds as the countdown rolls out.

For a first year student it is something like the feel of new car from a showroom, like a new recipe from the chef, a new app from the developer, a new product from a popular start-up etc... It is something the students are waiting for a long time and for some the wait is ever since the start of the college. That excitement you get when you know something very good is going to happen. Expecting the unexpected, sudden thrill and noises of excitement blasting the ears.

For the people who have dived deep into their department, going forward strong in their second later years, the fest  is like the fragrance of kurinchi flower. They have already lost in its paradise long ago and waiting to get lost again. Like waiting for that one last bell before vacation. The fest does not only fills the buildings with colors but also the student’s with dreams, colors of memories, the laughs they have shared and that unexpected smile someone had. Though the lights are out the people’s mind are rebellious it takes more  than the darkness to put them to sleep. It is always the heart that is a poor listener but this time the mind has joined the line.

For every techno geek, fully focused, subject nerd out there the fest is the place for them to show the world who they are.  The time to raise their benchmark and roar like a lion-I did it. To sail their boat on dangerous though comfy waters. Like the racer overtaking everyone to get to the red line first, a lonely pirate defeating an armada take home his victory, a hunter hunting till the last beast standing is dead. It is a tough competition with the worthy opponents to get seize the worthless glory.

For every small guy with big hidden talent to expose. To dust that skill he had forgot under the loads of papers he has written. To the one whose passion does not fall in line with his profession. To that dancer who sees a performance but all he could do his sigh since he is caught up in a twisted tale of career and interests that  are two different things. It is his time to leave it to the heart to make decisions. The time to do what he wants and the way that he wants.
